What is Authentica?

What it does

Authentica issues a Certificate of Authenticity for every item sold, automatically. Each certificate carries its own serial number, a private QR code, and a cryptographic signature and fingerprint, all hosted on a verification page on your own store. Buyers, and any future owner, confirm an item is genuine with one scan. No wallets, no crypto, no blockchain, and never a fee per certificate.

How Authentica works

1. Install

   Install Authentica from the Shopify App Store.

2. Design

   Pick a category and design the certificate in the drag-and-drop editor.

3. Issue

   Every paid order issues a signed, serial-numbered certificate with its own QR verification page.

4. Verify

   Buyers verify instantly, transfer ownership on resale, or report a problem.

5. Revoke

   A refund revokes the certificate automatically.

• Klaviyo, webhooks & Shopify Flow: trigger workflows when a certificate is issued, verified, transferred or a problem is reported
