Options
| Setting | Choices |
|---|---|
| Numbering style | Sequential (00001, 00002…), Roman numerals (I, II, III…), Date prefix (2026-00001…) or Random code |
| Prefix (optional) | Any text placed before the number, such as AUTH- |
| Number padding (digits) | How many digits a sequential number is padded to (5 by default) |
| Number limited editions | Off by default. When on, every certificate for a product carries its edition number |
Example
With a prefix of AUTH-, sequential numbering and 5 digits of padding, serials read AUTH-00001, AUTH-00002 and so on. With editions on, the twelfth certificate for a product shows as No. 12. The total ("12 of 100") prints when the certificate carries an edition size, which you add through the editionTotal column when you bring certificates in with Certificates → Import CSV.
