Authentica can email every buyer their certificate the moment it is issued, with a button that opens the verification page. You can write that email in your own words, which makes it fit warranty, guarantee or membership certificates as well as certificates of authenticity.

Apps → Authentica → Settings, in the Issuance and Certificate email wording sections.
How to set it up
Turn it on
In Issuance, tick Email the certificate to the buyer automatically. Each buyer gets their verification link as soon as their certificate is issued.Write your wording (optional)
In Certificate email wording, fill in any field you want to change. Leave a field blank to keep the standard wording in your email language.Send a test
Enter your address under Send a test email to and choose Send test email. The test uses the wording on screen, even before you save.Save
New certificate emails use your wording straight away.
What you can change

| Line under the button | The short line below the button. |
| Sender name | The name buyers see in their inbox. The sending address stays the same so the email keeps reaching inboxes. |
| Reply-to address | When a buyer replies, the reply goes to this address, for example your support inbox. |
Use {product} for the product name and {brand} for your brand name. The heading, button, line under the button, sender name and reply-to also apply to the email a new owner gets after an ownership transfer.
Language
Choose the email language in Settings → Verification page language → Certificate email language. It is used for the certificate email and for the email a new owner gets after a transfer. See Languages.
When the email is held back
- With activation checks on, the email waits until the piece is activated, then goes out.
- A certificate with no buyer email address on the order is not emailed.
