Does Authentica use crypto, NFTs or a blockchain?

No. Every certificate carries a serial number, a QR code, and a cryptographic signature and fingerprint, all hosted on your own store. There is no wallet, no NFT, no blockchain, and no fee per certificate.

Is Authentica only for jewelry?

No. Category presets cover jewelry and watches, fine art and prints, luxury fashion and handbags, sneakers and streetwear, collectibles and trading cards, autographs and memorabilia, wine and spirits, coins and bullion, handmade and artisan goods, antiques, rare books and instruments, and any brand where authenticity matters.

What happens if I refund an order?

The certificate is revoked automatically and the verification page shows it as revoked.

Can a certificate follow the item when it is resold?

Yes. Ownership transfer records the new owner and keeps a provenance trail of every previous owner, so the certificate travels with the item.

What data does Authentica access?

Protected customer data (name and email) and order data are used only to name certificates and to certify past orders. No payment data is stored by the app.
