Vendor Price Check and Supplier Audit for Odoo
Find what you cannot reorder, before you need to.
You discover a product has no supplier at the worst possible moment: when it has sold out and you are trying to reorder it. The same is true of a supplier price line that expired last quarter, or a minimum order quantity that conflicts with the rest of your setup.
This audits the buying side so those faults surface on a quiet day instead of an urgent one.
What it checks
- Products with no supplier at all, which cannot be reordered.
- Supplier price lines that have expired or can never be reached.
- Minimum order quantities that conflict with the rest of your setup.
Why it always surfaces at the worst time
Purchasing data is only exercised when you purchase. A product with no supplier sits quietly in the catalogue for as long as it is in stock, and announces itself the first time it sells out. An expired supplier price line behaves the same way: everything looks configured until the moment it has to produce a price.
Auditing the buying side on a quiet day converts an urgent problem into a scheduled one.
Who this is for
Anyone reordering from more than a handful of suppliers, and anyone whose supplier agreements have dated price lines. Both accumulate faults that no screen in Odoo puts in front of you.
Pairs with reorder planning
An audit tells you what is broken; a forecast tells you what to buy. If you are planning purchasing on Shopify rather than Odoo, Miko Restock does the reorder side there.
Requirements
- Odoo 16, 17, 18 or 19, Community or Enterprise.
- Odoo Online cannot run third-party modules that contain Python, which is Odoo's rule rather than ours. Odoo.sh and self-hosted installs are both fine.
