Attach photos to a piece from its certificate page, for example at dispatch, on a return or for a complaint, with a short note. They are visible only to you in the app and are never shown on public pages.
Where to find it
Open a certificate in Apps → Authentica → Certificates and use the private photos section. Download every photo at once from Certificates → All private photos (ZIP).
How to add a photo
Choose or paste
Choose a file, drop it on the page, or paste a photo straight in with Ctrl or Cmd + V.Add a note (optional)
For example: dispatch, returned item, customer complaint.Upload photo
The photo is saved privately. Uploads never overwrite an earlier photo.
Options
- Protect reference photos: a protected photo cannot be deleted, and neither can a certificate that holds one, until the protection is removed.
- Confirm the dispatch archive: one button protects every dispatch photo of a piece at once and records the confirmation, with the date and number of photos, in its history.
- Compare side by side: tick two photos, for example the dispatch photo and a returned item, to see them next to each other.
- Recently deleted: a deleted photo can be restored for 30 days, then it is removed for good.
- Everything is logged: uploads, deletions, restores and protection changes appear in the certificate's history.
- Replacements keep them: when you replace a certificate, its photos move to the new one with the piece.
Limits
Up to 50 photos per piece, 10 MB each, and 50 GB per store. Download the originals at any time, or on Pro schedule your own copies with the export and photo endpoints.
