Issuing certificates

Back-catalog issuance

Issue certificates against orders placed before you installed the app.

Under Past orders, run Certify past orders to issue certificates for orders placed before you installed Authentica, in the background. Past customers end up with a certificate before your next launch, drop or fair, honouring the same tag filters, exclusions and metafield mapping as new orders.

Where to find it

Apps → Authentica → Past orders.

How to set it up

  1. Open Past orders

    In Authentica, open Past orders.
  2. Certify everything, or pick orders

Start a full run to certify your most recent paid orders, or tick just the orders you want under Or pick the pieces you want.
  3. Find older orders by number

The search looks through your whole order history, not only the recent orders listed. LV1016, #1016 and 1016 all work.
  4. Let it run

Progress shows live and the run continues in the background, so you can close the app and come back.
  5. Send the certificates

Certified past orders appear under Certificates, ready to email to those buyers in bulk.
