Getting started

• What is Miko Product Rentals?Rent products by the day, week or custom period, using your normal Shopify checkout.
• Installing Miko RentalsInstall the app and add the date picker to your product pages. The free plan needs no credit card to get started.

Troubleshooting

Start here when something is not behaving the way you expect. Each article below covers one symptom, with the checks in the order that resolves the most cases first.

• Dates show as unavailable when the item is sitting on the shelfPending bookings from abandoned checkouts still hold units, and a store-wide blocked date blocks the whole catalogue.
• A multi-variant product shows as never availableAvailability is tracked per variant, so a product with no variant selected has no unit pool to check against.
• A booking that ends today blocks a hire starting todayIt should not: ranges are half-open, so a booking ending on the 10th releases the 10th for a hire starting that day.
• The rental calendar is not appearing on the product pageThe calendar is a theme app block, and the product also has to be set up as a rental product inside the app.
• The price at checkout is not what the calendar quotedThe deposit is combined into the cart price, units multiply both fee and deposit, and long hires can cross into weekly or monthly rates.
• Still stuckWhat to send us so we can replay the availability calculation for your dates and name the booking responsible.
