The Subscribe & Save widget

The theme block that shows your one-time and subscription prices side by side, and everything you can change about it.

The widget is a theme app block that renders on your product page. It shows the one-time price and the subscription price side by side, with a frequency menu, and writes the chosen plan into your theme's add-to-cart form.

Adding it

In Online Store → Themes → Customize, open a product template and add the Subscribe & Save app block. Position it directly above the add-to-cart button. It works in quick views and cart drawers as well as on the full product page.

How the price is displayed

The headline quotes the price of the first delivery, and the subscribe option quotes the ongoing rate. When an offer has an intro discount, those two numbers are different on purpose, and the cart and checkout repeat both. Percentages are rounded to the nearest cent so the price shown on the product page matches what Shopify charges, rather than landing a cent under it.

The block renders nothing on products with no offer. That is deliberate: an empty delivery-options box on a product nobody can subscribe to is worse than no box at all.
