A bigger discount on the first delivery

Run a deeper intro discount on delivery one and your standard discount after it, priced by Shopify on every renewal.

Tick Bigger discount on the first delivery to run a larger intro discount on delivery one and your standard discount on every delivery after it. This is the classic "50% off your first box, 15% off after that" offer.

How it is priced

The offer is built with two price policies rather than one: the first delivery uses the intro value, and every later delivery uses the standard value. Because both live on the selling plan itself, Shopify does the arithmetic at checkout and on every renewal. There is no discount code to leak, expire, or be applied to the wrong order.

What the shopper sees

The product page shows the first-delivery price in the headline and the ongoing rate on the subscribe option. The cart and checkout show it as "First payment X, then Y", so the shopper knows the ongoing price before they buy, not after their second charge lands.

Be honest about the step up. A deep intro discount with a quiet renewal price is the single fastest way to generate chargebacks and one-star reviews. The wording above is deliberate: it states the ongoing price up front.
