Options
The fields
| Field | What it does |
|---|---|
| Offer name | Internal label, and the selling plan name a shopper sees at checkout. "Subscribe & Save" is the default. |
| Discount | A percentage off or a fixed amount off, applied to every delivery. |
| Value | The discount amount. A percentage is capped at 90 so an offer can never price a product at or below zero by accident. |
| Delivery frequencies | One or more of the seven presets. See Choosing delivery frequencies. |
| Bigger discount on the first delivery | An optional larger intro discount on delivery one. See A bigger discount on the first delivery. |
| Prepaid | Bill for several deliveries at once. See Prepaid subscriptions. |
| Choose products or variants | Opens Shopify's own product picker. Required: an offer with no products attached cannot be created. |
Whole products or specific variants
The product picker lets you expand a product and tick individual variants. What you tick decides how the offer attaches:
- Tick the product, or every variant. The offer attaches to the whole product, so variants you add later are included automatically.
- Tick some variants. The offer attaches to those variants only, and a new variant added later is not subscribable. Offers cannot be edited after they are created yet, so you would create a new offer that includes it.
Pick whole-product attachment unless you have a specific reason to exclude a variant. It is the option that does not need maintenance.
Offers created from the product page
Offers created from the Miko block on a product's admin page are pulled into the Offers list every time it loads, so both surfaces show the same set and neither can quietly fall behind.
Removing an offer
Removing an offer deletes the selling plan group from your products so nobody can subscribe to it again. Existing subscriptions are not affected. Subscribers on that offer keep their contract, their price and their schedule, and continue to be billed normally.
