Offer your wholesale buyers the ability to pay by invoice instead of paying at checkout. Set up payment terms like NET 30, NET 45, NET 60, or NET 90 for specific customer groups.
How it works for your customers
When a net terms customer checks out, they choose the manual payment method you created for net terms, for example "Net 30, Pay Later". Miko's payment customization function shows that method to customers in your net terms groups and hides it from everyone else. The order is created in Shopify as unpaid, and you can then issue a formal invoice and collect payment through your normal accounts process. Miko does not create or send invoices.
Where to find it
Miko App → Net Terms. The payment method itself is a manual payment method you create in Shopify Admin → Settings → Payments → Manual payment methods.
How to set it up
Setting up Net Terms
Add a pay-later payment method in Shopify
Go to Shopify Admin → Settings → Payments → Manual payment methods and add a method called something like "Net 30, Pay Later" or "Invoice".
Go to Miko App → Net Terms
Find the customer group you want to offer terms to.
Enable net terms for the group and choose the payment term
Turn on Enable net terms for this group and choose NET 30, 45, 60, or 90.
Choose the checkout payment options and the keyword
Pick Net terms only or Net terms and regular payments, and set the keyword to a word in your method's name, for example "net" or "invoice".
Save
Net terms will now appear as a payment option at checkout for customers in that group.
Options
