Troubleshooting

A translation did not apply

The usual causes: a plan language cap, an edited translation, or a language added since the last daily check.

Check these in order:

  1. Your plan does not cover that many languages.

Free translates your primary language only, and Starter translates up to 3. A language beyond your plan's cap is not translated until you upgrade.
  2. You edited that translation yourself.

An edited translation is never overwritten automatically, including by a later daily check. If the primary answer changed since, update the translation yourself.
  3. The language was added after the last daily check.

The app notices a newly published storefront language on its next daily pass. Open Languages and click Translate now instead of waiting for it.
  4. The source answer is still a draft.

Only published answers are translated for the storefront and the Knowledge Base.

How to fix it

Open Languages in the app: it shows exactly which of your storefront's languages are covered by your plan and how much of each is translated. Click Translate now after adding a language rather than waiting for the next daily check.
