Troubleshooting

An answer won't publish

The usual causes: it still needs your answer, or the plan's answer limit has been reached.

Almost every report comes down to one of these, in this order:

Check these in order

  1. It still needs your answer.

An item marked Needs your answer has no answer text yet because your store data could not answer the question. It cannot publish until you write one.
  2. Your plan's answer limit has been reached.

Each plan caps the number of active answers (25 on Free, up to 2,000 on Pro). Once you are at the cap, a new answer stays as a draft until you archive another answer or upgrade.
  3. It is a pending update, not a fresh answer.

An update waiting after a store change sits as a pending version next to the still-live answer. Open the answer and approve the update; it does not publish on its own unless auto-refresh applies on your plan.
  4. The help centre page itself failed to create.

This needs the content permission approved during install. Reinstalling the app re-prompts for it.

How to fix it

Open the answer in Answers and check its status badge first — it tells you which of the above applies. Write the missing answer, free up room under your plan's limit, or approve the pending update, then publish again.
