Every day, the app re-reads your store and compares each fact against what the answers using it were written from. When a fact changes, such as your refund window, a shipping zone or a pickup location, it prepares an updated answer rather than leaving the old one live and wrong.
What happens to an answer you have not touched
| Plan | When a source fact changes |
|---|---|
| Free, Starter | The app prepares the update and waits for you to approve it. |
| Growth, Pro | The app applies the update automatically, since auto-refresh is included on these plans. |
What happens to an answer you edited yourself
An answer you have hand-edited is never auto-overwritten, on any plan. The app still notices when its source fact changes and flags the answer as out of date, but it waits for you to decide what to do with it rather than replacing your own words.
When your store data stops answering a question
If a change removes the fact an answer depended on (a policy is deleted, say), the app marks that answer Needs your answer again rather than leaving a stale one live.
