Miko Loyalty & Rewards is a native Shopify loyalty program that rewards customers for buying from you, referring friends, and engaging with your brand. Customers earn points, redeem them for discounts, and progress through VIP tiers, all without leaving your store.
What it does
Miko doesn't ask you to edit theme code. The storefront widget is a Shopify theme app embed that you switch on in the theme editor, it loads after your page content, and points are calculated on the app's servers from Shopify's own order events, not in the shopper's browser.
The core loop
Customer buys → earns points → redeems points for a discount on their next order → buys again. Each purchase brings them closer to the next VIP tier, unlocking better rewards and keeping them coming back.
What do customers experience?
- They earn points automatically when they complete a purchase while signed in to their customer account (no opt-in needed)
- They can check their balance and available rewards in the widget on your store
- On Shopify Plus stores on the Pro plan, they can redeem rewards inside the checkout itself: the checkout panel generates their discount code without sending them back to the store
- They receive a personalized referral link to share with friends (Growth and Pro plans)
- As they earn more points, they progress through VIP tiers with better earning rates and tier-only rewards (Pro plan)
Who it is for
Shopify merchants who want more repeat purchases without running a loyalty platform of their own. The Free plan covers a small store starting out with up to 100 members, and the Pro plan adds VIP tiers and checkout redemption for larger and Shopify Plus stores.
