The rewards widget is the floating panel that appears on your storefront, usually in the bottom corner, where customers can check their points balance, see available rewards, and find their referral link.
Where to find it
Switch it on and style it in Online Store → Themes → Customize → App embeds → Loyalty Points Badge. The program name comes from the Miko app’s Settings, and the “Powered by” credit is under Settings → Widget Branding.
How to set it up
Open the theme editor
Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize on the theme you have published.
Switch on the embed
Click App embeds and toggle on Loyalty Points Badge.
Style it
Expand the embed to set the position, colours, logo, fonts and the text guests see. Click Save.
Options
Customizing the widget
In the embed’s settings in the theme editor you can configure:
- Position - bottom left or bottom right of the screen
- Accent color - match your brand colors, plus background, text and hero gradient colours
- Logo, fonts and corner radius
- Panel title and points label
- Widget button text - the guest message that appears on the launcher for signed-out visitors (e.g. "Join Rewards")
In the Miko app:
- Program name - shown to customers (e.g. "Rewards Club" or "Points Program"), under Settings
- Remove Miko branding - available on Growth and Pro plans, under Settings → Widget Branding
What customers see in the widget
- Their current points balance
- Their VIP tier status and progress to the next tier
- Available rewards to redeem, and any codes they have already redeemed
- Their referral link
- Earning opportunities (ways to earn more points), including a place to add their birthday
Signed-out visitors see a join prompt instead of a balance.
