Every customer has the same score, or no scores appear

Scoring ranks customers against each other, so it needs a synced customer base with enough variation to be meaningful.

Scoring needs a customer base to rank against. With no customers synced yet there is nothing to score, and the analysis returns empty rather than inventing values. If scores exist but barely vary, the usual cause is a very small or very uniform customer base: ranking twenty near-identical customers into fifths produces coarse, unhelpful bands. The scores become meaningful as order history builds up.
