Adding your suppliers is what makes the Buy Sheet and purchase orders truly automatic. Each supplier has a lead time, terms, and the costs you have recorded for the products they provide.
Where to find it
Open Suppliers from the app menu. Assign products to suppliers from the Suppliers page or inline on the Buy Sheet. Received purchase orders and Rescue Import also link products to suppliers as they go.
How to set it up
Add a supplier
Press Add supplier and fill in the name, email and lead time.Link products
Assign products inline on the Buy Sheet, or press Sync suppliers from vendor to link each product to the supplier matching its vendor. Products that already have a supplier are left alone.Pick a preferred supplier where it matters
When a product has more than one supplier, open it on the Buy Sheet and mark the one you want. Otherwise the cheapest is used.
What suppliers unlock
- Lead times feed the forecast: a supplier's lead time is built into the reorder date and recommended quantity, so you order early enough to avoid a stockout.
- One order, split per supplier: when a Buy Sheet selection spans several suppliers, Miko creates one purchase order per supplier automatically.
- Lowest cost wins: when two suppliers carry the same product, Miko picks the one with the lower recorded cost when it builds the order, unless you have marked a preferred supplier.
