The rental fee and the deposit are combined into the price that reaches the cart, so the checkout figure is legitimately higher than the hire fee alone. Two other things change the number: choosing more than one unit multiplies both the rental fee and the deposit, and longer hires can cross into weekly or monthly rates. If the quote and the checkout still disagree, check the dates in the cart line rather than the ones on screen, since changing dates after adding to cart requires re-adding the item.

Miko sets the rental price in the cart with a Shopify Function (a cart transform). Shopify only allows this kind of price change on Shopify Plus and development stores. How to fix it
For the plan issue, place a test booking and compare the checkout total with the calendar. If it shows the regular price, rental checkout pricing is not available on your Shopify plan, and you should contact us before taking bookings. For the other causes, the checkout figure is correct: compare it against the rental fee, deposit and units the calendar showed.
If it still is not working
Send us the details listed in Still stuck, with the order number, and we will compare the order with the quote.
