Generating a description

The three steps to generate content for a single product, and what you can steer about length, tone and language.

Pick a product, tell me what to write, and I'll get to work. I never touch a live product unless I'm actually confident in the result.

Open the Generate page from the app's left menu. Generating content for a single product takes three quick steps.

  1. Pick a product. Search by title and select from the results. Once selected, Miko shows a "What I can see" panel listing exactly which data it can draw on for that product, its description, image, price, variants, and any product details.
  2. Choose what to generate. Tick any of the six content types. Pick a tone (Auto, Professional, Friendly, Luxury, Playful, Minimal, Technical, or Bold) and, on Growth and Pro plans, a length.
  3. Generate. Leave "Write generated content back to Shopify automatically" on to apply results straight away, or turn it off to review first.
