Watermarks

Protect your own product photography with a positioned, adjustable watermark.

Upload your logo once on the Watermark screen and Miko remembers it. A PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest result.

Where to find it

Open Watermark from the left-hand menu.

How to set it up

  1. Add your logo

Press Add logo and choose the file. A PNG with a transparent background works best, up to 2MB.
  2. Place it

Choose where it sits and drag the sliders. Your choices save automatically as you change them.
  3. Check the preview

The preview stamps your logo onto one of your own product photos and updates as you move the sliders, so you are judging it on a real image rather than a sample.
  4. Use it in a run

Once it is set, a watermark can go on as part of any resize run (tick Also stamp my watermark on each image), or on its own using the Watermark only mode, which leaves the pixel size untouched.

Options

  • Position, one of nine spots on a three by three grid, from a corner to the center.
  • Size, set as a share of the image width, so the stamp stays in proportion on a large photo and a small one.
  • Opacity, from a faint mark to a solid one.
  • Margin, how far the stamp sits from the edge. It is not used when the logo sits in the middle.
  • Keep the logo readable on any photo, a soft halo behind the logo so it still reads on a white or a very dark photo. It is on by default and never changes your logo's own color.
