I need the original images back

Originals are backed up before anything is changed, and you can restore a whole batch or a single image from it. The one hard constraint is time: backups are kept for 30 days and then purged automatically. After that window the resized image is the only copy the app holds. The restore option in a batch shows how many of its images can still be restored, so a batch showing fewer restorable images than it processed has passed its retention window for the rest.
