Getting started
Installing the app
Install from the App Store; the app configures itself around your catalog. Turn on the storefront pieces when you are ready.
Step 1, Install the app
Install Miko AI Traffic & Conversion from the Shopify App Store. On first open it configures itself around your store: it reads your catalog to suggest store-specific buyer prompts and it registers a consent-aware web pixel so arrivals can be recorded. You do not need any API keys or theme edits to start.
Step 2, Confirm tracking is live
Open the app and check the Overview. The setup checklist shows a green tick next to Tracking is live on your storefront once the web pixel has recorded its first session. This is derived from a real signal, not a self-reported flag.
No AI arrivals yet is normal. The report stays empty until an AI-referred visit actually happens. That is correct behavior, not a fault. See How tracking works for how to create a test arrival.
Step 3, Turn on the storefront pieces when ready
- Arrival Confirm panel (paid): enable it in Settings, then add the app block in your theme editor. See Arrival Confirm.
- Product structured data: switch on the app embed in your theme editor from the Discovery page. See Product structured data.
- llms.txt: generate and activate it from the Discovery page. See Publishing llms.txt.
